Maddy Stern (Keller), a young woman who goes missing while searching for her father, a birdwatcher who has vanished in the woods. Maddy's friends set out to find her, but they soon discover that they are being hunted by a pair of prehistoric terror birds that have been resurrected by a wealthy scientist.
The group must use all of their skills and cunning to survive the attack of the terror birds and find a way to escape the scientist's compound.
