Season 5 of The Good Fight dives into the complexities of diversity and representation within the legal system. Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) continues her journey at Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart, a firm led by Liz Reddick (Audra McDonald) and Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo). However, Diane begins to grapple with her own place in this predominantly Black law firm.

While she remains a valuable asset, questions of cultural fit and representation start to arise. The firm also faces financial difficulties, forcing them to make tough decisions about their future. Adding to the pressure, they find themselves embroiled in a series of high-profile cases, including a contentious legal battle with a powerful tech giant.

This season introduces a new character, Allegra Jurado (Alana De La Garza), a charismatic and ambitious lawyer who joins the firm as a name partner. However, Allegra's arrival creates a stir, and questions surround her motivations and her connection to the mysterious David Lee (Andre Braugher), a powerful figure who casts a long shadow over the firm.
