Elysium

In the year 2154, Earth has become a desolate wasteland, ravaged by pollution and overpopulation. The wealthy elite live in luxury on a pristine space station called Elysium, orbiting above the Earth. While citizens on Earth struggle to survive in dire conditions, they can only dream of reaching Elysium, where advanced medical technology can cure any disease and ensure a comfortable life.

Max Da Costa (Matt Damon) is a former car thief living in Los Angeles, now working a dangerous factory job on Earth. Exposed to lethal radiation during an accident, Max is given only five days to live. Desperate to save himself and reunite with his ailing daughter, Max embarks on a perilous mission to reach Elysium and access its advanced medical care.
