American Sicario

American Sicario dives into the perilous world of Mexican drug cartels, following the story of Erik Vasquez (Philippe A. Haddad), an American who rises through the ranks to become a high-ranking lieutenant.  Fueled by ambition and a desire for power, Erik climbs the cartel ladder, navigating ruthless competition and forming uneasy alliances. However, his ambition comes at a cost, creating enemies not only within the cartel but also attracting unwanted attention from the DEA.

The film explores the dark side of the American dream twisted by ambition and violence. As Erik's drug empire grows, his personal life crumbles, and the line between loyalty and self-preservation blurs. Witnessing the brutal realities of the drug trade, he's forced to confront his choices and fight for survival in a world where trust is scarce and betrayal is a constant threat.
