49th People's Choice Awards
The People's Choice Awards is an American awards show, recognising people in entertainment, voted online by the general public and fans. The show has been held annually since 1975, with the winners originally determined using Gallup polls until a switch to online voting in 2005.
When and Where:
- The 49th People's Choice Awards will take place on 19 February, Monday, 9AM (GMT+8), Tune in to the live telecast on ROCK Entertainment.
- The red carpet will start at 7AM (GMT+8)
- The primetime encore will be on 20 February, Tuesday at 5:45PM (GMT+8) on ROCK Entertainment.
- The ceremony will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
What's New?
- The ceremony has moved from its traditional December slot to February this year.
- This year will also see the debut of the People's Choice Country Awards, a spin-off event scheduled for September.
Who's Hosting?
- The host for the 49th People's Choice Awards has not been announced yet. However, last year's host, Kenan Thompson, could potentially return.
