Grown Ups
Thirty years after winning their junior high school basketball championship, five lifelong friends reunite for their beloved coach's funeral and a weekend at a lake house where they used to party.
Lenny Feder (Adam Sandler) is now a successful Hollywood talent agent married to Roxanne (Salma Hayek), a fashion designer. Their children are spoiled and out of touch. Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James) is a co-owner of a lawn furniture company married to Sally (Maria Bello). They have two children, a daughter and a son who still breastfeeds despite being four years old. Kurt McKenzie (Chris Rock) is a stay-at-home father married to Deanne (Maya Rudolph), who is pregnant with their third child. Kurt's mother-in-law also lives with them. Marcus Hill (David Spade) is a slacker and lothario. Rob Hilliard (Rob Schneider) is married to his much older fourth wife, Gloria (Joyce Van Patten).
As the weekend progresses, the friends reminisce about the past and try to recapture their lost youth. They also learn to appreciate each other and their families more.
In the end, the friends realize that growing up doesn't mean losing who you are. It means learning to embrace your past and present, and to cherish the people you love.
Grown Ups is a funny and heartwarming film about the importance of friendship and family. It is a story about finding your place in the world and learning to appreciate the simple things in life.
