P.S. I Love You

Holly Kennedy (Swank) is a young and vibrant woman who is deeply in love with her husband, Gerry (Butler), a charismatic and free-spirited Irishman. When Gerry is diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, Holly's world is shattered. She spends every moment with Gerry until he passes away just shy of her 30th birthday.

Devastated by her loss, Holly withdraws from her friends and family, unable to cope with the pain of Gerry's absence. On her 30th birthday, she receives a mysterious package containing a cake and a cassette tape. The cassette holds a message from Gerry, the first of many that he recorded for her before his death.

In each message, Gerry guides Holly through her grief, encouraging her to live life to the fullest and not let his death define her. He also arranges for her to travel to Ireland, where he grew up, and to experience all the things he loved.

As Holly follows Gerry's instructions, she begins to rediscover herself and find joy in life again. She also forms new relationships with people who knew Gerry, and she learns more about his life and the impact he had on others.

Through Gerry's messages, Holly realises that his love for her is eternal and that he will always be a part of her life. She learns to embrace the memories they shared and to cherish the love they had for each other.
