Hamburger Hill

The story follows a platoon of the 101st Airborne Division, specifically focusing on a group of fresh-faced replacements who are thrust into the horrors of war alongside their battle-weary squad leader, Staff Sergeant Adam Frantz (Dylan McDermott). Under Frantz's guidance, the young soldiers undergo a crash course in battlefield survival, forced to confront the realities of combat.

As the film progresses, the platoon is repeatedly ordered to assault the entrenched North Vietnamese forces on Hamburger Hill. Each attempt results in devastating casualties, raising questions about the purpose of the battle and the true cost of victory. The soldiers grapple with fear, exhaustion, and the loss of comrades as they fight for survival in a seemingly un-winnable situation.
