The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
In ancient China, a ruthless warlord, Qin Shi Huang (Jet Li), unites the country's kingdoms into an empire and becomes the Dragon Emperor. He orders the construction of the Great Wall of China and buries his enemies' corpses beneath it. He learns to control fire, water, earth, wood, and metal—the traditional Chinese Wuxing elements. However, growing fearful that his death will end all he has accomplished, the Emperor summons sorceress Zi Yuan (Michelle Yeoh).
Zi Yuan, having fallen in love with General Ming (Russell Wong), tricks the Emperor into drinking a potion of immortality. Upon drinking it, the Emperor's body transforms into clay, and he is buried beneath the Great Wall with his Terracotta Army. Zi Yuan and Ming are buried alive alongside him.
In 2008, Alex O'Connell (Brendan Fraser), the son of famed mummy fighters Rick and Evelyn O'Connell (Maria Bello), is tricked into reviving the Emperor. He and his mother must find a way to send the ghoul back to the grave before he can awaken his vast army and take over the world.
The O'Connells are joined by Zi Yuan's sorceress daughter, Lin (Isabella Huang), who is also seeking to defeat the Emperor. The group travels to China, where they must face the Emperor's Terracotta Army and the resurrected General Ming.
