Needle in a Timestack

Nick Mikkelsen (Leslie Odom Jr.) and Janine (Cynthia Erivo) live a seemingly perfect life together in a near future where "time jaunting" (time travel) is readily available for the wealthy. However, their blissful bubble bursts when the timeline shifts for the third time in a year, throwing Nick into a state of confusion and suspicion.

Nick notices subtle changes in their home and Janine's behavior, leading him to question if their shared history is truly what it seems. He suspects they had a dog in the past that has vanished in the new timeline, and a nagging feeling grows within him that something is missing.

Determined to uncover the truth, Nick embarks on a risky time jaunt himself, traveling back 13 years to a pivotal moment in his past relationship with Alex (Lucy Boynton). He persuades Tommy Hambleton (Orlando Bloom), Janine's ex-husband, to pursue Alex instead of Janine, hoping to alter the timeline and reclaim his lost happiness with his true soulmate.
