Blue Streak

Miles Logan (Martin Lawrence) is a skilled jewel thief who has never been caught. He participates in a heist with his crew to steal a $17 million diamond from a heavily guarded museum. The heist goes awry, and Miles is forced to hide the diamond in a building under construction before he is arrested.

Two years later, Miles is released from prison and returns to the location of his hidden treasure, only to find that it has been transformed into a police station. Undeterred, Miles decides to disguise himself as a recently transferred officer to infiltrate the building and retrieve the diamond.

Miles manages to convince his superiors that he is a real cop, and he is even partnered with a detective named Casey (Luke Wilson). However, Miles's cover is constantly threatened by his lack of police knowledge and his impulsive behavior.

As Miles and Casey investigate a series of burglaries, they find themselves getting closer to discovering the truth about Miles's identity. Meanwhile, Miles is also trying to dodge the attention of Deacon (Peter Greene), a corrupt former member of his heist crew who is also looking for the diamond.

In a climactic confrontation, Miles is exposed as a jewel thief, but he manages to defeat Deacon and retrieve the diamond. He then returns the diamond to its rightful owner and disappears into the night.
